Re•Visioning Clinical Issues
This series is open to Re•Vision graduates only
This series offers an opportunity to explore a number of clinical and Mental Health issues from an IP perspective, to examining our responses to these particular 'symptoms', and to engage with the tension of holding a soulful perspective whilst also honouring the clients desire for a relief of suffering. It forms part of the final year of counselling training therefore participants will be joining an established group.
February 12th 'Mothers Little Helpers'

March 5th 'Depression and Anxiety'
To quote Thomas Moore, 'in a society devoted to light, depression, in compensation, will be unusually strong'. Depression and anxiety are amongst the most common 'presenting problems' that bring clients to counselling. How can we begin to hold the tension of working in a culture that sees such symptoms as something to be eliminated, whilst honouring the symptom

April 23rd 'Substance Misuse'
Taking a soulful approach to addictions whilst at the same time recognising and attending to the particular challenges that arise when working with clients who are dependent on alcohol and/or drugs. What do we mean when we use words like 'dependent', 'addict' etc? What are the clinical and ethical challenges?
May 7th 'Self Harm'
Self harm is an issue encountered with increasing frequency. How can we understand and work effectively with a symptom which evokes such complex feelings in those around the client
