“I've loved my three years on the Counselling Diploma. It's been hard work but has provided me with the skills necessary to sustain the work as a counsellor, while at the same time leading me towards a much greater understanding of myself. I can't remember what my life was like prior to coming to study at Re•Vision." Deb Lyttleton
The counselling training takes place over three years:
each stage is a discrete but linked unit that builds on the previous one.
BACP accredited course status applies only to those students who complete all years years of the training programme, i.e. Stage I (Foundation Year) plus Stages II and III (Diploma). The only exception would be for students joining the course under the BACP approved APL procedure. Students leaving after the Foundation Year, or students joining the Diploma course at Stage II without following the approved APL procedure, would not be deemed to have completed the BACP accredited course.
