low cost counselling service
Having been established for more than 23 years, Re•Vision offers high quality training with a spiritual perspective to counsellors and psychotherapists in Queens Park, London. As a charity one of our aims is to provide access to high quality, affordable counselling to people in the local area.
Our low-cost service is based at Re•Vision's training centre and is staffed by counsellors in training or recently qualified graduates. They all work under close supervision by Re•Vision staff and carry professional insurance. Our training is accredited by both BACP and UKCP.
who can use the service?
The service is available to those who are low-paid, unwaged or receiving benefits.
how much does it cost?
Sessions cost £10 and are 50 minutes in length, and there is a £20 fee for the initial assessment interview.
where does it take place?
Sessions take place at our premises close to Queen's Park tube (Bakerloo Line) and mainline station in North West London.
when will I be expected to attend?
Appointments will generally be scheduled at the same time each week. The maximum number of sessions available is usually twenty. It is not normally possible to offer weekend or late evening appointments.
what happens when I contact the service?
When you make contact with us we will arrange for an assessment to take place. The assessment aims to explore why you are looking for therapy at this time and what you are hoping for from attending. You may also have questions about the service or the process of therapy. The assessor will then match you with an appropriate counsellor and make arrangements for your appointments.
