Re-Vision

some quote lorem ipsum and so on... Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry's standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged. It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.

pathways to training at re-vision

diplomas and accreditation

On completion of the Foundation Year students are awarded a certificate. Application may be made to the Counselling Diploma Training. On satisfactory completion of Stages II and III students are awarded a Diploma in Integrative Psychosynthesis Counselling accredited by the BACP. On completion of Stages IV and V graduating students are awarded a Diploma in Integrative Psychosynthesis Psychotherapy and are eligible for UKCP national registration as psychotherapists.

BACP Accredited course status applies only to those students who complete all three years of the training programme, i.e. Stage I (Foundation Year) plus Stages II and III (Diploma).  The only exception would be for students joining the course under the BACP approved APL procedure.  Students leaving after the Foundation Year, or students joining the Diploma course at Stage II without following the approved APL procedure, would not be deemed to have completed the BACP accredited course.

personal therapy and supervision

Weekly sessions with a qualified psychotherapist, who is approved by Re•Vision, are required throughout the training. Training therapists are outside the training team. Group supervision is held by the main training team and has the function of training supervision. This is included within the training fees. It is in distinction to individual supervision, with an approved supervisor, which varies according to the case load of the student.

assessment

The process of reflecting on self and monitoring one’s own professional competence is crucial to becoming a counsellor and psychotherapist. The emphasis at Re•Vision is on a transparent and creative process of assessment which works towards mutual agreement. Continuous self and peer assessment is monitored by tutors who have a pastoral role and remain with the student throughout the training. Assessments are held at the middle and end of each Stage.
